The new browser-based game, Circuit Breaker, is described by its creator, the artist known as Sutu, as "Mad Max meets Tron in a cyberpunk speedrun game set in the world of NEONZ." The project is a partnership between the artist and Blockborn.gg, an online leaderboard platform owned by esports gaming company Misfits, which is putting up twenty thousand dollars in prizes,

In Circuit Breaker, collectors sync their Tezos crypto wallets and Neonz at Sutuverse.com, where their Neonz NFTs manifest as full body 3D avatars with unlockable powers. The NFT avatars sprint through a maze of obstacles, corridors and moving platforms, collecting ‘voltz’ to power up and activate hidden dimensions to seek out the fastest time.
The Tasmanian-born 3D artist is known both for his mastery of mobile AR. His company, Eyejack, has published two critically acclaimed books of AR enhanced artwork, and Sutu's work has enhanced work by Stephen Spielberg, The Weekned, John Legend, Google, Marvel, and Disney. Sutu's project, NEOMAD, an interactive comic series created in collaboration with a community of aboriginal youth in Western Australia, was recently adapted into a live action TV series.
Sutu shared his vision of how web3 will unlock new kinds of digital experiences that bring communities together on the Ted stage in the spring. He launched Neonz in late 2021 as a generative NFT avatar collection consisting of 10,000 avatars. The collection sold out in under 30 minutes and that initial crowd sale has financed the subsequent development of Neonz AR experiences, and is integrate to the new Circuit Breaker game.

The beta version of Circuit Breaker had its debut at the Proof of People exhibition in London earlier this year. "Since then the gameplay has continued to evolve with a focus on allowing players to have more agency in their new found Neonz digital identities," said Sutu. In early November, Circuit Breaker will drop its first collection of NFT avatar accessories, where every accessory unlocks new kinds of gameplay from speed boosts to teleports. From there, the game has a roadmap featuring new levels, tournaments and an IRL event slated for Art Basel in December 2022.
